Alfa Shotokan Karate Club grading 28th of March 2015

On the 28th of March, 52 members of Alfa Shotokan Karate Club took part in a joint grading with East London JKA Club. The examiners on the day were Sensei Glyn Morgan and Sensei Mick Lowe. Two hours of training led by the examiners gave everyone a chance to practice their basics and katas before they undergo their grading. The importance of good stance and basic techniques was emphasised, an essential skill that all the students must have in order to receive their next belt. The grading began with the white belts, and gradually went up though all the colours to brown. The grading consisted of Basics, Kata and Kumite, each varied from beginner to advanced grades. All the members of Alfa Club performed up to their best ability and showed great spirit and energy. Proud students of Alfa Shotokan Karate Club have been awarded new belts after a successful grading, Eva Lam and Nadine Aziz got double grading! Well done to all and big thanks to parents and guardians and our club fans!!! Alfa Shotokan Karate Club is looking forward to a very exciting year !
