The World Shotokan Karate Federation England Karate Championship 2025 took place on the 9th of February with many competitors.
Our very own Ben Gold from Alfa SKC, competed in the
 Men’s adult Kumite & is now a federation champion & Gold medalist with the bronze medal also going to our student Alex Edwards. In the Ladies Kumite, Silver and Bronze medals were won by our students Komal Shah and Anna Mukherji.

In Kata our club took Gold in both mens and women’s categories with Alex and Komal both winning their events. Our juniors also did fantastically, with Aryan Shah winning a Gold medal and Jake Edwards and Josh Mukherji both winning silver in their categories.

Judges , spectators & supporters of the Alfa Karate Club were impressed by Ben , Alex & Komal ’s speed and fighting style.

Sensei Syed & Sensei Suzana was judging on the day. It was a great experience to attend the Championship.
