On the weekend of the 1st of November, 10 competitors from the Alfa SKC squad were selected to compete at the JKA England Open Championships held in K2 Crawley. A big congratulations to Diana Maculska who become a champion in Kumite and took 4th place in kata, Eduard Valchev won gold by winning all the fights in the male cadet category showing very good fighting spirit and techniques. Milana Khlimankova took second place and got silver in girls kumite. The final medal for us went to Nadine Aziz who won Bronze in girls kata. Nahida Aziz took 4th place in kata.Few more members competed and narrowly missed out on a medal, more practice and luck is needed next time. This is England’s highest level tournament for our competitors so a massive well done to everyone who competed and supported us on the day.
